Hardware Integration Software Engineer (multiple positions)

Job Description
Full-time remote or on-site positions for design, development, coding, testing and debugging tasks associated with the Phi Optics commercial software platform (CellVista and CellVista SDK)

  • Develop, maintain, test, review and evaluate code for Phi Optics commercial software platform (CellVista and CellVista SDK), including:
    • Integrate off-the-shelf optical microscopy devices (scientific cameras, microscopes and motorized components, liquid crystal modulators) into our image acquisition software
    • Writing testable, scalable and efficient code

Skills and qualifications

  • Experience with integrating hardware in control systems
  • Proficiency in C++ 17 and C++20
  • Preferred and a plus: hands-on working knowledge in electrical engineering, optics, optical metrology and lab equipment
  • Preferred and a plus: working knowledge of image processing including any of the tools in our stack

Qt for user interfaces
CUDA/OpenCL for fast processing of vast amounts of images
Python for ML/DNN tasks
Boost, cmake, OpenCV/OpenGL to support the above
